Comentários

The Israeli Olympic Committee had recommended dedicating the Israel Coin to Windsurfing, the Olympic sport in which Israel was especially hoping to win medals, following previous successes. The prediction came true, when windsurfer Gal Friedman won an Olympic gold medal for the first time in Israel's history. The coin was issued in cooperation with the Israel Olympic Committee and a portion of the proceeds from sales was given to the committee to assist in the financing of the Olympic delegation of Israel. Minted at the Vantaa's Mint of Finland with Star of David's mintmark. התשס״ד - Prooflike
